In 2003, after serving on pastoral staff at churches and in various capacities as a Bible teacher for over 16 years, Ben and his wife, Jill, were called to plant a new church in northern Cincinnati with the goal of creating a place where families could make lasting friends and become fully-developing followers of Jesus. Today, his passion for seeing just one more family radically impacted by the Gospel of Jesus has grown as he's witnessed the positive impact the ministry has had on families. Ben and Jill have 1 daughter and 3 sons and look for time to spend together on road trips touring the country, in the water snorkeling, or in the mountains exploring.
A summer job interning at Four Corners during high school lead Will to his calling; Worship Pastor. The opportunity to build a worship team that experiences life together, fuels Will's passion for his ministry. And, of course, being able to play "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" by Guns 'n Roses on a Sunday morning doesn't hurt either. Will is married to his high school sweetheart and they recently bought their first home together.
If you ask Melissa about her passion for her ministry, she will tell you that she loves students! She loves watching them discover Jesus and knows there is a HUGE opportunity to have a positive, life-changing impact on them. With over 13 years of student ministry experience, Melissa knows how critical it is for teens and pre-teens to develop their own faith and beliefs that will hold them strong with the trials of life get tough. Melissa and Mark, her husband of 24 years, have raised 3 boys together.
For more that 20 years, Sabrina has served in Children's Ministry by teaching kids about God's unconditional, eternal love for them. Planting these seeds of truth, and bringing fun, interactive programming to children, is her true passion. Sabrina, and her husband Brian, have 3 grown children (2 daughters and a son) and she often uses her experience as a parent to better support parents at Four Corners.
After falling in love with the US while visiting, Ilse and her family of 4 moved from South Africa to Cincinnati in 2004. A true financial person, Ilse loves accounting but she also has a heart for seeing people get to know Jesus. At Four Corners, she is able to live out both of these passions by providing a clear system of accountability, execution, and support so that the Four Corners team can reach every home in the north Cincinnati area with Real.Love.Now.
Susan, a wife and mother of 2 daughters, has served on the Four Corners team for over 6 years. Her main focus is helping guests feel welcome at Four Corners. Susan also facilitates communication between attendees and staff via the Connect Cards and Next Bold Steps. Susan loves that, through her role, she is able to celebrate as Four Corners members progress from being seekers of truth to fully devoted followers of Jesus. Susan lives in Wyoming where she is working on restoring her home to its mid-century glory.
After a 15-year career as an elementary school teacher, Brenna resigned to focus on her own growing family that includes her husband, 4 daughters, and 1 grand-daughter. Brenna's heart's desire has always been for kids and families to have a deep relationship with God so when the opportunity arose to step into the Elementary Director position she knew she was where she belonged. Brenna cherishes the time that she is given to invest in kids, families, and volunteers and is honored to be a part of the Kingdom work at Four Corners.
Heather joined the Four Corners staff team in 2008 and is passionate about serving families with young kids by creating a safe, fun place for them to experience Jesus' love. Growing up, Heather was blessed by leaders who built into her and, more recently, she's witnessed others investing in her 3 boys. She is grateful that God is using her to do the same thing!
If it plugs in or uses the internet, then Dave manages it. With over 17 years in the IT field and over 13 years of ministry experience, Dave uses his talents to help staff and volunteers use technology for ministry purposes. Giving people the tools they need to support what God has called them to do for His Kingdom is Dave's passion. Dave and his wife, Courtney, are excited to be working on adopting their first child.
Sophia keeps Four Corners running smoothly by tackling everything from calendar management to event coordination. When asked, Sophia will tell you that it brings her great joy knowing that her behind-the-scenes role helps the pastoral team and their efforts to lead the people of Four Corners into a deeper relationship with Christ. Sophia, a newlywed, is currently working on her bachelors degree in Communications.
After earning a degree in Mathematics from the University of Memphis, Allison took some time off to spend with her 2 daughters and son. While raising her young children, Allison and her husband Brett volunteered as small group leaders in the 4C Student ministry. Following her calling to serve students, Allison joined the staff team to facilitate communications between 4C Student staff, volunteers, students, and parents. Allison loves being able to serve students and especially loves watching them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
